Job Description

  • Responsible for the Management and Operations of Complex Projects/Contracts within the Lines of Business
  • Develop and periodically revise a work plan for the maintenance and operations within the projects limits to specifications under the contract.
  • Manage all employees including Asst. Project Managers, Area Managers, technicians, specialty work crews, administrative staff and other staff.
  • Monitor all Project overheads to insure proper utilization of resources and proper expense management by Asst. Project Managers, Area Managers and other responsible staff.
  • Monitor contract to ensure proper expense management and maximization of operating profits are being accomplished.
  • Make sure utilization of current equipment inventory is effective, and that the inventory is of sufficient quantity to handle contract needs.
  • Put together long-term personnel and equipment scheduling to determine overall project needs.
  • Identify, support and partner with the Contracts Committee for business development and estimating needs.
  • Ensure all staff are abiding by all federal, state and local laws within the scope of their contracts.
  • Monitor fleet of vehicles and equipment to ensure worthiness, thus not jeopardizing employee.
  • Perform annual evaluations on all responsible employees.
  • Work in conjunction with corporate department heads, Management and managers to coordinate training efforts annually for existing employees, new employees and division and branch-specific training needs.
  • Work with managers and Management in providing direction for the development of the project’s overhead budgets.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in the industry
  • College degree is strongly preferred with a preference for a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or comparable)
  • Previous experience in similar role
  • 5+ years of Supervisory experience

Certificates & Licenses (if applicable):

  • P.E. License preferred
  • Additional industry-related training/certification is desirable

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

TENNESSEE based

BASIC PURPOSE: This position is Assistant to the Project Manager to oversee the assigned project or Services Contract for the management, inspection, maintenance, and operations of the project.

REPORTS TO:                        CEO

JOB SUMMARY:          Performs and / or supervises all accounting functions, including Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Ledger. Prepares all budgets and Financial Statements, compiles all cost reports, supervises IT department, and prepares records for auditors.

QUALIFICATIONS:       B.S. Degree in Accounting. Minimum 10 years’ with supervisory experience .  Non-profit & medical insurance experience is a plus.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:      The Controller is responsible for all functions of the Business

   Office including but not limited to:

  1. Directly responsible for the operation and management of the Business Office’s activities.
  2. Coordinates the supervision of the medical / dental billing and reception personnel.
  3. Liaison between the computer software vendor and the Center.
  4. Prepares all budgets including the Operational Budget, HHS grant budget, HUD budget, United Way budget and other grant budgets.
  5. Prepares necessary submissions to auditors as required.
  6. Preparation of Medicare and Medical Assistance Cost Reports and the Projected Medicaid Cost Report.
  7. Maintains all supporting accounting journals and ledgers.
  8. Prepares all monthly financial reports and comparisons to budget.
  9. Attends monthly board meeting and reports on #8 above.
  10. Performs all payroll functions including timesheet calculations, employee enrollment in fringe benefits, data entry of timesheets, preparation of required government quarterly reports and annual reports.
  11. Supervises HR associate
  12. Performs all A/P functions including purchase journals, invoice verification, data entry of all payable invoices, processing of manual checks, voucher check preparation and A/P files.
  13. Reconciliation of all bank accounts.
  14. HIPAA Security Officer.

ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR/MANAGER

Our NEPA client is currently seeking an Accountant with 3-10+ years of recent Public Accounting experience. The ideal candidate will be in charge of attest engagements. The responsibilities will also entail financial statement preparation and tax returns for these small, mid-size privately held businesses and governmental entities.

 The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide technical guidance to accounting staff and professionally interact with clients and staff along with strong communication, client service, analytical, organizational and technology skills including Excel and QuickBooks.

 A Bachelor’s degree is a must and a desire to complete the CPA license is preferred.

  • GAAP: 3 years (Required)
